MSJS is pleased to organise a Prabhu Bhakti Sandhya (Bhavana) with renowned artist Shri Vinodbhai Patel from Rajkot, India.

Venue: Moorabbin Masonic Centre, 124-126 Rowans Road Moorabbin Vic 3189 (Melway Ref 77 H7).
Brief introduction:
Shri Vinodbhai Patel is a renowned name in Gujarati folk music world. He has over 36 music albums to his credit.
Vinodbhai has been on All India Radio for Light music lovers of Gujarat and other states.
Vinodbhai Patel has to his credit around 600 programs in USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai, Fiji, East Africa & South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana etc. (Visit www.vinodpatelindia.com)
This event is open to everybody - all who love and enjoy Jain Stavans (Prabhu Bhakti Songs).
Anyone arriving by train, please arrive at Highett station (Frankston line) before 8PM and give us a call. Someone will pick you up from station.
Paryushan 2009 (16 to 23 Aug)
As done last year, MSJS management committee has decided to invite Veer Sainiks from India. So it will be an excellent Paryushan with lots of activities. We will let you know the details (date, time, event and venue) as soon as it is finalised.
Please note down these dates in your diary.
- Paryushan First day Sunday is on 16 August 2009
- Full Day event on Saturday 22 August 2009
- Paryushan last day (Samvatsari) is Sunday 23 August 2009.
Also we will do two pratikramana (morning and evening) and Paryushan Vyakhyan everyday.

We are a group of Jain families and individuals following the Shwetambar sect of Jainism. As a group, we have been meeting on a very regular basis for close to 5 years to do various Jain activities including two Samayiks every fortnight, Snatra Pooja on an ad hoc basis, Paryushan Aaradhana and Samvatsari Pratikramana.
