We are a group of Jain families and individuals following the Shwetambar sect of Jainism. As a group, we have been meeting on a very regular basis for close to 5 years to do various Jain activities including two Samayiks every fortnight, Snatra Pooja on an ad hoc basis, Paryushan Aaradhana and Samvatsari Pratikramana.

Paryushan Maha Parv 2008
This year Paryushan is starting from 27th of August and the Samvatsari Pratikramana (final day) is on 3rd of September. Please note these dates in your diary. Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh is going to organise various activites during this period therefore join our group to receive the notification emails or visit our website in near future.
Jinalay Pratishtha Mahotsav 2008
Under the spiritual guidance & inspiration of Param Pujya Shri Jinchandraji and blessings of Param Pujya Gachchhadhipati Aacharya Shrimad Vijay Jayghoshsurishwarji Maharaj Saheb, Nitin Doshi & family builded the first Jain Derasar (Grah Jinalaya with 5 Marble and 1 Panch Dhatu pratimaji) in Melbourne, Australia.
In the interest of Jainism and all Jains in Australia, Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh Inc. was the proud sponsor/organiser of this historical Pratishtha event and auspicious occasion.
An action packed, 4-day Pratishtha Mahotsav was held from 25th till 28th April 2008.
